Welcome, I’m Rābiʼa

Breathwork Practitioner, Multidisciplinary Artist, Space Holder

I believe that the breath is our most powerful and ever-present healer. It is the sacred bridge between our inner and outer worlds, carrying the wisdom needed to transform our deepest wounds into sources of strength and clarity.

Born of South Asian and Persian heritage and raised in one of the UK's most diverse communities, I've been steeped in the rich teachings of various world religions and spiritual traditions. Walking the Red Road and a devoted Sufi, I've woven these traditions into an approach that emphasizes compassion, embodied wisdom, and spiritual connection.

I grew up in a conservative immigrant home and experienced deep emotional struggles in my adolescence, including severe depression. I have lived through physical and sexual trauma. In my twenties, I faced burnout twice to the point of hospitalization.

They were wake-up calls from the body and soul. In my search for relief and meaning, I explored a wide range of healing modalities — from traditional talk therapy to somatic and spiritual practices. What consistently brought me back to wholeness was the breath and a committed spiritual practice. Breathwork gave me access to the wisdom within, and it continues to be a pathway back to truth, self-love, and inner peace.

Through breathwork, meditation, creative expression, and connecting deeply with nature and community, I learned to alchemize my deepest pain into purpose. These experiences taught me firsthand that we don't need someone to heal us; we already carry that capacity within. What we need is the space, the safety, and the breath to access it.

I am a writer, painter, dancer, and filmmaker. I see art as authentic expression and self-exploration, and a vital path to liberation. It is where I go to express my truth.

Today I live at Thousand Suns CME, in close relationship with the land. My days follow the rhythms of nature, community care, and sacred medicine work. Garden of Breath emerged from this way of life. My breathwork practice is Earth-centered, grounded, nurturing, and reverent. I hold space for people to journey inward safely, release what no longer serves them, and reconnect with the wisdom already within them.

Welcome to this sacred space. It's an honor to breathe, heal, and journey together.
